I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many shoes. Just take a gander at my bio. And if you adhere to the same attitude (come through, sneakerheads), this week’s menswear releases are chock-full of footwear for the coming season and beyond.
First on the docket are some options for all the sneaker enthusiasts. We have a nifty collab between our friends at New Balance and Bandier—just look at the juxtaposition of colors on those bad boys. In the same vein, Rothy’s has introduced color-blocked kicks that are primed for back-to-school season. Saucony has come out with sneaks that will blow the brains of anyone that was a member of a tech club in the ’90s. And Asics has partnered with Angelo Baque on runners that scream, “Viva Ecuador!” But if you want something more office-appropriate, and animal-friendly, Clarks has come out with vegan versions of its desert boot.
Not part of the shoe brigade, you tell me? Well, we have some shnazzy shirts, architectural jewelry, and a link to more covetable streetwear than you can imagine, too. Now that we have all this on offer, you might want to check out how to organize your closet. I sure do. Again, just check my bio.

Shadow 6000 Megabyte Low-Top Sneakers
Ninties kids, rejoice! Saucony has released the Shadow 6000 Megabyte, a sneaker inspired by the computer monitors and floppy disks that many of us 30-somethings and beyond will never, ever forget. What’s more, you can easily get your hands this limited-edition now that internet dial-ups are no longer a thing.
Printed Cotton-Jersey Sweatshirt
Early this week, Mr Porter launched Super Mart, a standalone vertical on the e-commerce platform that features a range of apparel and collectibles from 29 global brands, many of which are new to the retailer. One of the highlights is a range of offerings from Undercover MADSTORE, an imprint of Jun Takahashi’s pop culture-inspired streetwear label.
Trail Roam Short
It’s happy trails ahead for Buck Mason. The brand that gave us some no-fuss shirts has stepped into the performance category with Trail—a collection of tees and shorts that bridges the gap between work and workout.
Ah, the desert boot. It doesn’t get any better than the ones made by Clarks. And seeing as they have that market on lock, the brand has one-upped itself by introducing vegan versions—made of non-animal derivative materials—of its tried-and-true style.
Dragon’s Blood Crew
A match made in heaven: Tentree, a sustainable label, has partnered with National Geographic, the media outlet that has given us the most indelible images of God’s green earth, on a collection of tees, sweats, and hoodies.
In other stellar collab news, Venice, California-based eyewear brand Garrett Leight and Brazilian swimwear label Frescobol Carioca have partnered on a collection of sunglasses that captures the sun-kissed environment of their respective home bases.
‘Kick It’ Shirt
Hiro Clark’s collab with Equinox is going strong. Case in point: This tee, which stands sneakers and shoulders above the rest.
One of the coolest—and easiest-to-wear—colorways we’ve seen on the beloved New Balance 327 in a while happens to come courtesy of a collaboration with high-end women’s activewear brand Bandier. The sizing, therefore, is women’s. Don’t let that stop you. Just go up 1.5 from your standard size and enjoy.
Slim Fit Hyper Stretch Jeans
Like Bandier, New York & Company has also entered the menswear space, but on its own. The brand beloved by women who gravitate toward affordable basics has introduced a full range of offerings, from sweaters and trousers to jackets and activewear. It is also lending its signature HyperStretch material to every piece of denim you can think of.
Visionary Pennant Shirt
Visionary Society is waiving the flag for a better world. The burgeoning streetwear brand, founded by Diosdado Sima, has dropped its latest collection, called “Navigating Through Society.” The line features paisley-printed shorts, tees with images of the globe and phrases like “Revolution” and “A Better World Is Coming,” and a pretty nifty pennant shirt with, of course, flags with the brand’s name.
The RS01 Sneaker
Back-to-school season is here, and Rothy’s new footwear is reflecting that. The San Francisco-based label has released its Varsity collection, which consists of color-blocked sneakers inspired by collegiate styles in the ’80s. So, if you happen to be taking classes come fall, or just want some new comfortable kicks, Rothy’s has you covered.
Zaha Hadid was the apex of modern architects, and U.K.-based jeweler Tateossian is celebrating her legacy with a collection inspired by her designs. The line includes sterling silver cuff links, rings, and an appropriately-named bangle.
Gel-Kayano 14 Sneakers
Awake NY ‘s founder, Angelo Baque, has partnered with Asics on a refresh of the Gel-Kayano 14 that celebrates the designer’s heritage. Also called “The Rebirth of Cool,” the new kicks are cast in the colors of the Ecuadorian flag.
Retailer Machus and Los Angeles-based label BTFL have joined forces on a collection that perfectly reflects the idea of, well, joining forces. I mean, patchwork pretty much hits the nail on head.
